What do we need on our system in order to take advantage of surveyOnline?

Respondent access to the Internet. Our current system has been designed for a Netscape browser version 3.0 and above or Internet Explorer 3.02 or higher. If you have a different standard within your organization, Prism will be happy to design and test for your environment as well.

Does everyone in the organization need to have access to the Internet in order for my organization to use surveyOnline?

No - If data is required from individuals without access to the Internet, surveyOnline has the capability to print a copy of a survey or to email the survey for completion.

Can the survey items be customized to my organization?

Yes - We have customized surveys for organizations for over sixteen years. We will work closely with your organization to create a totally customized survey or you can use a survey currently being used within your organization.

Can written comments be included in the feedback process?

Yes - Our system allows for data entry and written comments.

How secure is our data on the Internet with surveyOnline?

surveyOnline has taken the ultimate in security precautions by collecting data on a web server owned by Scantron, Inc. in a separate building. Scantron does not score the data. Data is automatically uploaded to our scoring system located at a different site. The surveyOnline scoring system that stores and compiles data has no connection to the outside world.

How do we keep individuals that are not authorized from taking a surveyOnline?

surveyOnline provides scrambled security codes. Security codes are generated at random and are only active for a designated period of time. For individual participants receiving feedback, the participant has full responsibility as to who shall receive their personal security code.
