Mini Surveys and Reports
360° Surveys and reports have been around for many decades now. At SurveyOnline we are one of the few earliest adaptors of the mini-survey process pioneered by Marshall Goldsmith. The purpose of a mini-survey is to measure the specific behaviors a person has chosen to improve based upon taking a 360° survey. Instead of resurveying using the original 360°, this approach targets the specific behaviors a leader is focusing on to improve.
These mini-surveys can be administered as a key follow-up tool to assess a leader's progress. Using this measurement tool builds accountability into the development process. Results from the mini-survey report show the rate of perceived change in behavior by those who work with the leader. The frequency of measurement can vary. Typically, once every six months has been the norm.
The report offers a focused, digestible amount of information for the leader to gauge success. Our philosophy: It is far better to provide smaller, more frequent doses of feedback to those who are developing leadership skills. In other words, "less feedback, more often".
